National level

The SCCRE supports the exchange of information among researchers in the field of education. It operates the secretariat of the Swiss Society for Research in Education (SSRE) and houses the SSRE’s archives.

SSRE

The CSSRE maintains and promotes the Network for high ability development, which brings together people who have an interest in the many issues involving the development of gifted children, be it by virtue of their profession or basic concerns as a parent.

Netzwerk Begabungsförderung

In order to facilitate interaction between researchers, practitioners, administrators and policymakers in the field of education, the SCCRE operates the administrative offices of the Swiss Conference of Directors of Cantonal Centres for Educational Research (CODICRE).

Codicre

CODICRE (Conférence suisse des directeurs/directrices de centres de planification, de développement et de recherche en éducation), the Swiss Conference of Directors of Offices for Educational Planning, School Development and Educational Research, serves as a network for the supra-regional exchange of information on a wide range of topics. It promotes the exchange between the educational administration, various specialist organisations, the professional associations and educational research on cantonal projects as well as regional developments.

The focus is on the following topics:

  • primary school, topics related to primary school and cross-cutting issues,
  • quality, development and management at the system level.

CODICRE is made up of representatives of various cantonal, regional and national educational institutions, including representatives of cantonal departments of education and various educational institutions in Switzerland. In their function, they combine administrative knowledge, educational management and educational research (including CIRSE, IRDP, SCCRE, SRED, SZH).
